Design issues on the Web site and the E-tool

A. Web site

Interface
Mary Manolleli presented the demos developed by Creative Marketing for the site of EUROSPIN.
The parameters according to which the four demos have been developed are:

  • Students
  • Journalists
  • Europe
  • Political -Civic Issues

  • From the four demos (see Annex, section 9) partners have decided to have the last one, because it is representative of the field of journalists (typewriter), it is fun and pleasant for the age groups they are going to collaborate in the project.
    Regarding the Logo, Markus Artner as well as Sofoklis Sotiriou suggested to Creative to play with the word "spin".
    Bernd Klewitz suggested to be included in the site also a Maskot.

  • It has been decided to add some comments in each section of the site in order to explain to the visitors of the site what will be the content.
    Under the section "School Network" there will be a map of Europe indicating the schools taking part in EUROSPIN.
    Bernd Klewitz suggested to have a separate section called "Friends of EUROSPIN" where people from all over the world will be able to express their views on the project as well as to express their interest to participate in the project activities.

    B. E-tool
    Vagelis Anastasiou from EPINOIA presented a demo of the E-tool, which included the interface of questions as well as of the results of students queries in the Database (see Annex, section 10).
    It has been pointed out that the questionnaire will be on the Web in four languages (Greek, German, French, English).
