Sezgi Uygur
My name is Sezgi Uygur and I attend the 9th grade in Sankt Georgs College. I was born in Isparta, a city near Antalya. I’ve got a sister,who is 14 years old. My parents work as designer. I play the saxophone and attend a music school for 2 years. My favorite musician is Paul Desmond. Besides that, I enjoy listening to jazz music and folkloric dances. And I like to play volleyball and table tennis, swimming.
Alkin Kucukbayrak
My name is Alkin Kucukbayrak. On 22.04.1982 I was born in Istanbul. I attend the 9th grade in Sankt George‘s College. I have lost a year during preparation grade, when we were learning the language of instruction( German). My favorite subjects are Physics, Chemistry and Maths. And my hobbies are playing basketball and working with computers. I want to become an electronic engineer in the future. So I have to get along well with science related subjects. This is my first reason, why I have taken part in this project. My second reason is that - in my opinion - having friends from different countries would be nice.
Ziya Caba
Hello! My name is Ziya and I am 16 years old. I attend the 9th grade in Sankt Georgs College ( the year that the language of instruction, German was thougt isn’t taken into consideration). I like playing basketball and football, listening to music at home. Besides that, I believe that I’m a good chess player.
Cihan Guler
Hi, my name is Cihan G?ler and I’m a student and 16 years old. I attend the 9th grade in St. George’s College in Istanbul. I’ve lost one year durring preparation grade for German.
My family consists of 4 persons – my parents, my brother and me. I like playing basketball and football. I’m gladly busy with my computer. I would like to participate in this project, because I want to become acquainted with new friends.

My name is Nese Aral and I was born in Istanbul
on 14.02.1982. I attend the 9th grade in St. George’s College.
Both of my parents are doctors. I have got
a sister who is 12 years old. She attends a french school. I do sport,
especially tennis and Table tennis. I’m gladly busy with my computer.
I like to read books in German and English, because foreign languages
are important for me. I would to extend my German knowledge and want to
learn more at computer.The possibility is very important to become acquainted
with new friends.
Elif Cetrez
My name is Elif Cetrez and I was born in
Istanbul on 28.06.1982. I’m thus 16 years old. My father is director of
accounts department and my mother is housewife. I’ve got a sister who
is 21 years old and attend the university. In her free time she is workin
as a tour guide in tourism.
I attend the 9th grade in St.
George’s College. In my free time I like reading books and going to the
cinema and listening to music. I’ve doing sport for 5 years, but I’ve
stopped with the fencing sport. Now i’m interested in Gymnastic.
Our group strive to supply a contribution,
but the time is short. I hope, we spend an amusing time.
Gulru Ozakman
My name is Gulru Ozakman. I was born in Eskisehir and I’m now 16 years old. I live in Istanbul and attend the 9th grade in St. George’s College. I like skiing and swimming. My mother is barrister and my father is professor at the university. I want to participate in this project, because I want to have new friends.
Iris Uras
My name is Iris Uras and I was born in Tuttlingen in Germany in 1982. My parents returned to Turkey when I was 3 years old. I have got no sister and brother unfortunately. My father is doctor in a private hospital and my mother is pharmacist and director of our drink water spring-factory. I have attended a ballet school for 8 years. Now I have dance-lessons. I went to private elementary school, meanwhile I learned to play piano at the conservatory. I attend the 9th grade in St. George’s College. I like skiing and snowboard. I also enjoy swimming and tennis. Besides I like travelling all over the world if it is possible. I want to participate in this project, because I’m very interested in physics and want to study by myself. I’m looking forward to the teamwork with other youths from the world.
Burak Ozturk
I was born in Istanbul on 22.03.1982. I attended the Bosphorus elementary school and came into the Austrian High School after the 5th class. My marks are neither good nor bad. My favorite subject is English. I play gladly football and g to cinema. I wish to each other much fun with the e-Hermes project.
Ozge Cadirci
My name is Ozge Cadirci and I was born in Istanbul on 23.11.1982. I’m thus somewhat more than 15 years old. I attend the 9th grade in St. George’s College where we learn two foreignlanguages : German as language of instriuction and English. My father is civic engineer and my mother is housewife. I have got a brother who is 19 years old and studies at the university as a graduate of St. George’s. I play piano and enjoy listening to all kind of music. I’m very interested inscientific subjects and German. I would like to participate in this project, because according my oppinion, having friends from different countries would be nice.
Deniz Dizman
My name is Deniz Dizman. I was born 16/02/1982
in Istanbul. I’ve studied primary school in England,than came back to
Turkey. After taking the high school exams I won the Austrian College,
where I am still studying. I am at the 9th class right now,
and within 3 years I will have graduated from this school.
My hobbies are : Programming the IBM compartible
Computers. I code programs for DOS but now I am thinking of moving to
Windows. But now for the time being I use Assembly and Euphoria. I have
great interest in Virus writing and Data compression. I am willing to
exchange source codes of programmes with other people who are interested
in this stuff. I have my own viruses and utilities in .ASM, .BAS and .Ex
code. So if You are interested in programming please drop me a mail.
I play the Lead Guitar in a small rock group.
I like Metallica, Megadeth and have a great sound, lyric and TAB archive.

Yakup Cetinkaya
My name is Yakup Cetinkaya. I am a 16-year-old
boy from Istanbul. I’ve got a 12-year-old brother named Ali and we treat
us well (except some little „misunderstandings“ of course). In the free
time I handle with music, computer and FRP (Fantasy Role-Playing, a game
full of fantasy. And if someone is interested in this, my character is
mostly a half-elf bard (CN)9. I play guitar for two years, and I neither
visit any music-school nor a teacher visits me. I am not a master, but
it’s enough for me, because I play for fun and I live in music (I struggle
with theoretical music and harmony too). I like to listen to music also,
often progressive rock like Jethro Tull (which I strongly recommend),
hard rock (Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin etc.) and classic music (exceptionally
baroque). I like to draw too, and my drawings are quite fine, but I can’t
paint and my handwriting is nearly unreadable, and I’m lost in my disorder.
I like to play computer and my favourite games are strategy-games and
CRPG.
I ride bicycle (but it’s really hard to find
place to ride here in Istanbul), I like to play basketball too, but I
find just a few opportunities to play basketball here, because it’s much
harder to find a basketball-field than a bicycle course. I join this project,
because I enjoy physics and I want to meet new people.
Mustafa Yilmaz
I was born in Istanbul , I am 16 years old
and I have been living in this city since I was born. My parents come
from a family which comes from Greece. I go to snooker and bowling saloons
in my spare time, I’ve been playing the classicle guitar for 2 years now.
I think that this is a super instrument to spend your free time with,
but I am not an expert. I‘ve been employing myself for 5 years with the
computer , my interest lies in Programming Languages. But I like listening
to musik all the most and I cant think of life without musik. Mostly I
listen to Death/Black Metall (I heavnt heard of a musik type , besides
classicle musik which doesn‘t come from rock)
