Girlsday of the Bundeskanzleramt in Berlin

On April 14th the Science Center To Go was presented at the Girl's day Kickoff at the chancellery house in Berlin. We were happy to welcome the Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel at our stand for a short visit (image below).

The Girl's Day takes place once a year in Germany. It is meant to motivate girls and women to get interested in the fields of natural sciences and engineering. The Girl's Day aims at an increase of female employees in jobs which are usually dominated by male employees.
Therefore, various enterprises and institutions from all over Germany conduct an open house activity just for girls, once a year.
