SCeTGo was one of the twenty-five 'EU projects on Science Education for Teachers' showcased throughout the whole duration of the Scientix European Conference (6-8 May 2011, Brussels, Belgium) and was additionally presented for 3 minutes in the plenary session with an audience of approximately 400 conference participants. The aim of this
short presentation was to highlight the key outcomes of the project relevant for teachers and encourage them to visit the SCeTGo stand to gain further information.
In the showcase area SCeTGo was presented to visitors through
posters and by two educational kits (suitcases) allowing them to interact with the miniature exhibits. SCeTGo’s stand turned out to be very popular and attracted many teachers that were eager to test the equipment and provide the consortium with valuable feedback about the visualized phenomena through the completion of a
questionnaire.
