Sweet Water An education and awareness raising TV Programme for consciousness and adequate behavior towards a sustainable management of water resources Sweet Water TV spots The Figures: Marvi, the water fairy Marvi is the water fairy, she comes from Sweet Water Land and holds a bottle of the precious magic Sweet Water. The water represents pure clean freshwater, that has a miracle and healing function, and Marvi solves a lot of problems with it. Marvi is able to fly and can do a lot of miracles with her magic water, like cleaning dirty water. Aliba, the frog Aliba, the charming clumpsy frog, has a twofold function. Like everybody of us people, Aliba suffers on one hand from water pollution, but on the other, he also causes pollution himself without wanting it. Fortunately he lives all adventures together with Marvi, the water fairy , who helps him out of various problem with her magic bottle. The stories: The Sweet Water stories consist of a series of 4 little adventure stories (duration of 40 secs each) plus one introduction spot (25 secs) and one finale ( 20 secs). The spots can be broadcast separately or be combined in many different variations. Marvi and Aliba go through several adventures together. They are confronted with troubles of water pollution, but fortunately Marvi is equipped with her magic bottle of Sweet Water and is able to solve the problem in all situations. In the introduction part of the story , Aliba and Marvi are presented falling out of a drop of water, out of the sparkling magic bottle. The magic water is kept in a treasure chest, which symbolizes the preciousness of clean pure water. We can read the slogan: Water is precious, it's a miracle In the fnale of each little adventure story, Marvi and Aliba jump back into the treasure chest and the chest closes. They forget the magic bottle outside. The treasure chest opens again and Marvi reaches out with her hand and gets the magic bottle. Both Marvi and Aliba wave out of the treasure chest .We can read the slogan: Water is our treasure Episode: Spring- Water Figures Marvi and Aliba Treasure chest - lid jumps open- and out come Marvi and Aliba. They are sitting near a lovely spring, but Aliba sits next to a dirty puddle with withered flowers around it. Marvi fills the magic bottle and cleans Aliba and the puddle and suddenly life comes into all plants. Slogan: Water is precious- it's life Episode: Water- the most precious (expensive) drink Figures: Marvi, Aliba, Water Sales-man Treasure chest opens - Aliba is going for a walk, it is very hot. He has a bottle of water. He gets tired and lies down under a tree, falls asleep. In his dream he is in a desert and is very thirsty, there he finds a water sales man. He sees the price of the water- extremely high- and he is shocked... He wakes up, horrified- and from mistake kicks his water bottle. The water pours out of the bottle. No water any more… Marvi sits on the tree above Aliba and offers him her magic water. Aliba drinks and is relieved and happy. Slogan: Water is our most precious drink Episode: Water- Motorbike washing Figures: Marvi, Aliba Treasure chest opens - Marvi is sunbathing on a water lily leaf in a river. Aliba appears on the riverside with a motorbike. He is washing his motor bike. Lots of bubbles and dirt in his bucket and on the motor bike. He cleans wildly, picks up the bucket, and without looking, pours the dirty water into the river- on Marvi and the water lily. Marvi jumps up screaming loudly. Aliba looks up and sees what he has done, he is totally shocked and ashamed. Marvi gets out the magic bottle, pours water everywhere and everything is in order again. Marvi and Aliba leave happily together on Aliba's motor bike. Slogan: Water is precious- let's keep it clean Episode: Factory- Industry pollution-trans border pollution Figures: Aliba, Marvi, Factory Treasure chest opens - The factory is looking very evil and coughs out dirty water and dirty foam into the water stream. Stream flows into river. Aliba stands in the dirty water and holds a dead fish in his hand with an heartbreaking expression on his face. Marvi is riding on a dolphin and sees the disaster. She flies up to the factory and pours magic water into the factory flue and everything is clean again. Marvi and Aliba are happily dancing on the dolphin.
