After the conclusion of the needs analysis a series of thematic units was chosen in accordance with the results obtained. 

The subject matters of these units were as follows: Greece and Greeks, The housing Problem, At University, Employment - Unemployment, Newspapers-Magazines, Human Relations, Nutrition, Environmental Issues, Holidays. 

Each unit of the book is comprised of authentic texts, mainly journalistic, coming from a variety of sources such as newspapers and magazines.The unit presents the subject matter in context and consolidates vocabulary items through continoous repetition of the most significant themes . 

The presentation is communicate in essence, while teaching focuses on improving building oral and writing skills in a  number of social and linguistic contexts. 

For each unit, detailed teaching guidelines have been designed by the author's group of the coordinating institution, in accordance with the communicative nature of the project, laying emphasis on self - learning and self-assessment along with group-work.
