This Section describes the printed material produced within the framework of Athina.
|
The
appropriate audio material supplements each unit of the book. Songs and
recorded texts become an active part of the teaching process, presenting
highlights of the cultural identity of contemporary Greece.
Each song reflects the subject matter of the unit. Texts are heard twice once at a reading pace and a second time at a dictating pace, always followed by comprehension questions. Each unit is complemented by the corresponding video. It involves scenes of everyday life. Each video is followed by a series of tasks, checking
reading comprehension and offering vocabulary practice.
